Balatonfőkajár sounds like something I would call a best friend when he did something stupid... but in term of MotoGP it means we are going to Hungary.

Marc with the double here last year. He might not quite be 100% yet so not sure where that will leave him, but my guess is still a podium at least.

Digi was strong in the Sprint so he probably will be again.

Bezz and Jorge had decent rides and with the new Aprilia awesomeness I would expect both to be fighting at the sharp end.

Trackhouse boys had mixed results but both are looking strong for sure. Pedro had a solid GP and his determination and talent will have him being a player.

Iker Lecuona is going to ride for Gressini on Alex's bike. That will be interesting to see.

I am thinking this will be a continuation of the Bezz success and the other Ape Bros too.
Hope to see Honda and Yamaha continue to progress and get into the points and perhaps in Honda's case sniff a podium.

Woot woot..! RACING!

Well Friday is surprise day.

Surprise as in Acosta crushed every one!
Miller straight to Q2 :wow
Diogo rocking the HRC baby!! :banana
Aldeguer looking strong!
3 Yamaha's ahead of Pecco :wtf

Trackhouse in da Q2 house!!!
Not a surprise... all 4 Aprilia's in Q2.

Iker doing pretty good for not being on a GP bike for 3 years

He is…. And yes good to see.

Nahhh. Not in My mind. Dani had won plenty. Pedro is still on the rise. He is looking good this weekend. You can see his level is high based on the other KTM boys.

I was really hoping Binder would up his game. Disappointed there.

Sprint Saturday thoughts...

First one is it is hard to pass at this track!

I did not expect MM to be on pole. I thought Pedro was controlling the time sheets.

I did not expect MM to kill it in the Sprint. :applause

I did not expect to see Diogo up near the top 5 again. Kid is loooooooooking goooooood.

I enjoyed the Bezz vs. SuperRook 25 battle while it lasted. Yes.. hard to pass at this track.

Aldeguer was quicker than Mark and Pedro with 7 laps or so to go. Hard to pass sure bit him in the ass. He was fast enough to be on the podium.

Same time of the race Pecco and Digi in 9th and 10th. What up Digi??

Why are JackAss and StopRak faster than Fabio??

Raul... Nice job. Ogura... well? The other guys were solid. Bad day.

Solid day for Bezz to keep his drive for #1 going.
J. Mart fought well.

Marques is so fricking awesome.

Pedro is fricking awesome, but on the wrong color bike. Solid day again.

GP... First lap :wow1780845328290.png
Fucking the Martinator takes out almost all the Aprilia's.... and the top 3 in GP points. What a bonus for MM.

1780845430131.png

Lap 4 - Acosta bolts with his soft rear. Miller in 4th! 3 Honda's in the top ten!

Good to see Bezz was not hurt. Jorge to medical center.

What a fun battle for 4th and beyond.!!!!

Seeing a couple Honda's and Miller going at it is fricking great.

Iker in the top 10... :applause
Mir down again.. :facepalm

Pedro with the soft is giving in to MM and his medium rear.

Ai is moving up.

More entertaining than expected.
1780848469168.png100 wins in GP racing. Joins Ago and Vale. His greatness sealed. :applause :hail

Martin gets a double long lap penalty for the Czech GP because he was a douche canoe.

Mark picked up 30 points on Bezz. Not all the way back in it, but a solid catch up.
Iker with a 7th.. great job!
JackAss top 10. Nice. StoppieRak almost had one too.
Digi.. pick up your shit and a 12th. Good job there.
Cal almost got a point. Hope he is enjoying racing again.

Was Jorge hit from behind by Diego? Plenty of over-caffeinated blah-blah about how everything was Jorge's fault, but I saw zero definitive camera views. No view from Diego's front cam.

The film is probably hiding out on the grassy knoll.

I don’t think so. I think the former Champ did it all on his own.

Diogo is impressive.

Martin over cooked the corner it was all him. The MotoGP highlights on YouTube show him by himself on the inside into the corner, bike became upset during breaking and he plowed into Bezz.

Edit, video

If you look closely (and frame by frame) it appears the #10 (Red) bike just clips (ever so slightly) Martin's rear tire just has he is starting to brake. If you look at the vid above (within the first 1 or 2 seconds) you can see just as the #10 bike goes across the rear of Martin, you see Martin's left leg go off the peg as it the rear started to step out. This appears to start the "oh shit" moment. I am not 100% convinced this was Martin's error.

I am not seeing a red bike when he starts to get out of control.

Possible it was before this as Diogo was there, but not enough for me to let Jorge off the hook of a dumb ass mistake.

ridley's clip starts out with martin already out of control, marini #10 is close to martin but i don't see contact

Pramac’s Jack Miller suspects the crash was caused by Martin struggling to disengage the holeshot device, calling for an immediate ban on such ride-height adjustment mechanism in MotoGP.

“[It seemed] Jorge [was] trying to get the device out," he said, "the bike jumped and then when it starts jumping, it's difficult to make it stop. I've been saying all along since Barcelona, since we saw two crashes at the first corner for the same sort of thing, ‘take them off'.

“At the end of the day, we're making an unnatural manoeuvre, especially here in Balaton, where Turn 1 was quite slippery. With the new asphalt, you weren't even really able, without locking the front, to really get enough transfer to unlock the devices. So, another device-related crash, I believe.

looks like it was martin trying to disengage the ride height device but the poor traction at turn one was preventing it
