Motorcycle parking vs. Porsche

You should be able to post those pictures from your phone to the forum. O wait... iphone.. :|

I had a similar thing happen to me yesterday. The girlfriend and I were going to grab some food in downtown SJ. St. James ave has a couple of moto spots and sopme douche is parked in all of them. His wife and kid are in the car so I pull up next to the car and blare my horn. I start to back it in behind the car (thinking about this thread), where there was room and the GF tells me to just find another spot.

So we move down the block and just as we are taking off our helmnets, the guy drives up, all roid raging out "What the F&*^ is your problem?"

We exchanged a few pleasantries and I exclaimed at how I admired their choice of language in front of their little girl (who had her hands over her ears to cover up all of the fuck you's and asshole's that her mom and dad were spewing out of their meth-laden scab covered mouths). The mom looked at me through vacant eyes and said "Fuck you, I don't care".

I replied that it was obvious they didn't care about their kid and they should avoid the goddam moto parking. They drove off, I went to eat.

Well...if your dog attacks mine while mine is on a leash (and lost), I'd sue your ass. If mine won, well...your fault since your dog wasn't on the leash.

naw hes better than me. i dont have a porsche.:rolleyes

So THAT'S why he didn't want to reverse... he doesn't know how to. Backed up his rear tire right into the curb, hope he curbed-rashed his nice $1800 rims. And good thing another oncoming car didn't take out his left front fender when he stuck his nose out like that...

Way to keep your cool OP... nice job.

Not by barf standards, but my bf seems to think I look OK enough. :p

No, I will not post a picture of myself. Not gonna happen.

:twofinger

Simple, PM me the photo and I'll post up your hawtness rating. :party

3-4 cars park over the admittedly un-used motorcycle spots on the corner of 2nd and Market every Sunday. I am torn, as I feel it's uncool, but on the other hand, there are 3-4 moto parking areas within 2 square blocks and they're not really preventing me from parking.

Not to derail the thread, but because he is required to have the dog on the leash; the dog is his responsibility.
Back to the thread...great pix. Definitely got his attention.:thumbup

Nice avatar dude. How's the new bike?

Thanks! It's like learning to ride all over again. It's a far superior machine on every level, but it's a little harder to ride in the city. The Savage was tuned for city riding, and it was hard to accidentally do something stupid. That said I think I had a face splitting grin the entire ride. I love how it looks and handles, and I think I'll keep it for a long time. And even with the stock pipes, the engine itself sounds AMAZING compared to the Savage. My left hand got kinda sore pretty quickly because I find unlike the Savage's bull bars, I'm pretty much leaning all my weight on the SECA's bars. I think I should eventually change the bars or adjust the existing ones.

I could go on and on, but in summary I'm pretty happy.

What's his plates!!! Lets find him like that Nissan 350z guy!

That would be DivineZ... and if someone can find this guy and the Porsche Forum he posts on, I would be happy to take care of him, too! :teeth

Boy there are a couple of shitty dog owners in this thread.
I'll throw one of these in because I won't have the energy to internet battle with you :twofinger

OP you rocked it!
I live on a dead end street in the ghetto behind a big gate and occasionally people will dump a lot of shit here, construction debris and diapers etc.
I was leaving my gate and came across a tarp covered pick-up full of trash backed up to my fence. A man was starting to untie the tarp, an older woman was in the passenger seat. As I locked my gate I said to the man "You're not dumping here right?" "oh no" he says. I was driving my cage and I had to go but it occurred to me that pulling in front of his truck and poking my camera phone out of the window for his passenger to plainly see while I took the pictures might be a good idea. Got back later, trash everywhere!
j/k, clean as a whistle.
This is the second time I've taken pictures of people at that spot, the first was in the act of dumping and I made sure he picked up all that trash and swept up before he left.

This thread makes me weep with joy for the soft art of "street justice".

well played, mate...well played.
