MSRP For Ninja 300.

And my point was that if they're unwilling to do it without the fees, you're without a bike. This will most certainly be the case with these 300's.
 
Rumor is that the 300 was added to the list of bikes that you can buy from Kawasaki through Costco. The going rate is near MSRP, but there are no dealer fees, and you get a $250 costco gift card. It took a few years before they added the 250R to the program, but it looks like they didn't wait at all for the 300.

If someone is interested in the new bike and is a costco member, it's definitely worth investigating.

Someone beat me to it but that's pretty much why the costco program was created. Both bikes I bought using it they give you a price below MSRP with no fees. Oh and the dealers response is always "It's crazy were making nothing off these bikes!" :rolleyes
 
Honestly, if it's anything like the dealerships I work with, they're not. Money comes from service, not sales.
 
Hey all I've been calling around to see how much I can get the Ninja 300 for OTD. So far Hollister Powersports can't be beat. Nice general manager and he told me that they wont be beat. OTD is $5600

$200 more for the special edition two-tone green one. Nice stickers he said.
$500 more if you want abs but only a few colors carry the abs option.

So ABS is available in cali then huh? For some reason the 1000 isn't and I suspect the 650 isn't either

No dealer is going to lose a sale because they won't negotiate OTD. If they want MSRP plus $2000 for fees, the OTD price is just $2000 more than MSRP. It isn't like negotiating OTD makes them any less money, it just means that the negotiation isn't shady.

Someone in San Diego successfully used the Costco program, and picked up their new 300 this week. A smidgen less than $5400 OTD, and then there is an additional $250 gift card for costco, taking the actual cost closer to $5150, as long as you planned on spending $250 at costco anyway that year.

In retrospect, I should have signed up for Costco even if only for this single transaction.
