Multistrada 1100s vs. Tiger 1050

California Sport Touring and probably Twisted Throttle has the stuff to add heated grips and a 12v outlet to just about any bike. I added a 12v outlet to my Vulcan via CA Sport Touring. I have also seen heated grips add-on things where you put the heating elements under your existing grips.

Yes, California Sport Touring has the stuff for heated grips and all the Powerlet stuff.
California Sport Touring is a dealer for Twisted Throttle. Anything in the Twisted Throttle catalog can be had through CST at a discount. :ride

ANYWAY...

Any useful info on the Tiger 1050 from that show? I saw one review with a similar comment on the soft suspension.

The Tiger I rode had the front damping set to mid point, and the damping was too soft in terms of sport riding. But, on the bumpy section of the test ride, that long travel soft suspension sucked up the bumps great. There was a huge difference when I took the second ride on the Thunderbird...so much more harsh.

Race Tech has a suspension rebuild kit for the Tiger. I think just the parts are $1k including a new rear spring? http://www.racetech.com/HTML_FILES/triumphtiger.HTML

So today I got a Tiger as a loaner while the Sprint gets the front tire changed and I gotta say, now that I'm not limited by the confines of a demo ride, OMG THIS BIKE INSPIRES SO MUCH GODDAMN HOOLIGANISM! :drool

You've never struck me as a hooligan.

So ... what.... locking up the rear and sliding it into every stopsign?

Horking up a 3 footer after every stop?

Define and detail for us.

Keeping the front down was....um....difficult. :|

I wish I could've locked the rear up for slides but the alas the loaner has ABS. :thumbdown

Because I could. :D

But mostly because I had to drop the bike off at 8 and the techs don't start until 9. Don't ask me why the shop opens an hour before the techs start working because I don't get it either. :rolleyes

So where is this shop? I wouldn't mind a new bike rental for the price of a tire change...:ride:ride
