MX Outdoors - Where the strongest earn their metal..!

Them bros are the real deal. Look forward to them coming back.

Kitchen had a solid run thru the pack.

Jett is a bad ass. End of story. The track looks awesome but all the guys said it was shit.

Here is the story from CYCLE NEWS

The new Bros were impressive.

Mt Morris this weekend.

What a beautiful track. I sometimes forget about the green grass and nice dirt back east.... (y)

Produced some good racing, congrats to Hunter. :applause I found one of the pre race facts mentioned in the broadcast interesting, the top three points leaders in the 450 classs are all younger than the top three in the 250 class. Though we had a good shakeup in those points in the 250 class. That and Bubba kept referring to Prado as Prada. Maybe he'll start calling Anstie, Antsie!

Davies was on fire, and Ju Ju continues to impress with his recovery... return to racing. Hammaker's crash was scarey. Great to see some glipses of what the future might bring with rides from guys like Kayden Minear. Kitchen, finaly gets a good start and goes down. :facepalm I suspect, being 6'1" and just a couple pounds short of 180 lbs doesn't help with starts on the 250. We've got a wide open race for the championship. Shimoda's and his consistency, he will be there in the end.

Of course we were treated to some more TMZ moments with Deegan. I think most of it, at this point, is in his own head. While he may have crossed the line only 3 seconds behind Jett in the second moto, the Lawrence brothers appeared to be controlling the race from the front. He hasnt closed the gap.

The Deegan routine is somewhat reminicent of the Jlaw drama with RV and Dungey. But JLaw actually won a few of those races, in the 250 class.

Red BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD should be awesome in two weeks. That is a bucket list track I'd like to visit some day. It will also be our countries 250th birthday! :flag

Not much of a showing from the American riders at America's track on America's birthday.

Hey, we got a third place over all in the 250s! :laughing Go Ryder D. (y) Dudney is showing some promise too. :flag Stoked Joe brought Evan the deer for the fans on the podium. But would it have killed him to give us a Red BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUD too? Lost oportunity.

Congrats to Hunta this week. Dude was on fire, loved watching him hunt down both Prada, and Jett. Well deserved over all win after that heartbreak of a brainfart on the last lap of moto1. Also a great podium nod to America, and its birthday after moto 2 from Hunter.

Southwick this weekend, and the Coenen brothers should be back. I expect them to be even more competetive in the sand than their already impressive Colorado debut. While I don't think of Deegan as a sand rider per se, he has won there the past two years in a row on a 250... 1st moto last year by a big margin too. Its one track where his wild child let her rip and hang on might just pay some dividends.

Speaking of wild childs, Bam Bam likes the track. Perhaps he and his Ducati team mate move up the finishing order this weekend. RJ can ride the edge on sand too.

Of course we know Prada, Hunter, and Jett can ride the sand. I suspect this could be the best 450 race yet this year.

In Minnesota now for my annual month of July trip to the Midwest. Going to miss Millville, aka Spring Creek as we have a cousin get together that weekend. Sporting clays and pistol competition, with some of our own fireworks in the evening on the farm. :frankie:applause

Jett is saying that nagging injury is affecting him. Looks like it... sort of.

Cycle News lighting it up!

What a fantastic pic of the Prado, Hunter, and Jet going into the first corner. Summarizes the 450 race for the wknd, it was all about them. As far Dudney's hair goes :laughing, I'm trying really hard not to judge. :facepalm That said, the kid from Iowa, a true 16 yr old, is killing it in his rookie season! That hair coloring thing wasnt working for Sexton this year either. I've quitely suspected it was contributing to his front tuck-O-ramo issues.:afm199

Wow, Southwick delivered! It was like an international race, or MXDN... :laughing

Coenen brothers are legit. Not completely surprised Sacha and Lucas were so fast in the sand. We got robbed of seeing Lucas in Moto2, but everyone should be on notice for next year when they come over full time. It will be SHAKE up time outdoors at the very least. Been some time since we've seen any rider slice through the pack like Lucas did in Moto1 of the 450s.

Speaking of last time, when did we last see a 450 engine give up the ghost on a factory bike like Lucas's in Moto1? Maybe Dungey, in Highpoint I think when fuel boiled? That could have been a really scary crash for Lucas.

Prada :cool, cough Prado, actually showed a little fight at the end of Moto2 chasing down Deegan. Almost got him... and perhaps the most fight we've seen from him since leaving Europe.

Is Deegan closing the gap to the front, or the Lawrence brothers just managing their lead gap as they always do? Regardless, enjoyed the show. (y)

Damn.. I got to catch up!

Southwick is knarly. I always loved riding the sand myself, but those guys are at a whole nutta level.

The Belgium Bros as bad ass and Sacha is one tough kid. What a rocketship too. :wow

Jett vs Hunter is the deal in 450's. DangerDude is getting better, but that better still shows how damn good the Lawrence Bros are. The 250 class is really interesting. Digging it. Go young guys go!!!

Pretty pictures and info HERE

That first lap of 250 Moto 1 was amazing to watch; Sacha almost crashed like 5 times lol. Someone has to tell him he doesn't need to win by 30 seconds by almost crashing (or actually crashing); take it easy.

:laughing soooo true. His feet were off the pegs that lap as much as they were on. Perhaps not a fair comparison as Sacha has a few seasons of MX2 under his belt already, but rookie 16 yr old Bubba in 2002 came to mind watching that first 250 moto. Its been almost 25 years, but trying to remember if even Bubba looked that squirly or on edge. Sure was entertaining regardless. (y)

While there seems to still be speculation, and no formal announcement to my knoweledge..... I for one would love to see them here full time next season.

250 class is literally a crap shoot every weekend; I love it.
:laughing I've got to learn new names and stories each week in the 250s! Those first lap crashes in the first 250 moto were knarly.

Begining laps of the second 450 moto was some good racing between Jett and Hunter too. (y)

With a couple of dudes hurt and Danger Boy chasing the fastest of the fast in the 450's it is a bunch of fun!! Digging it.

Hunter is looking legit. Really legit.
Jett was already really legit.

The track looked really difficult.

Welcome back Eli.

I'm becoming a Hunter fan! :applause:thumbup Both Lawrence brothers, again stamped their dominance over Prado and Degan. I'd like to be a fly on the wall at KTM USA racing to know what they think of Prado's effort this year. If the Coenen brothers do indeed come over next year, does Prado or KTM execute the sceond year of the 1+1 contract? Certainly, he has done better on the KTM this year than the Kawasaki, and the Lawrence brothers are the clear aliens. However, is he comfortable on the bike, is he giving full effort?

Also been tough to see Eli circulating back outside the top 10. 11th at Spring Creek, and 14th this past wknd I believe. Pretty scarey neck injury to come back from, how much is it still affecting him? Is he meeting his expections, or are we seeing Eli's final exit? Legend no matter what. :flag

I'd also like to see Hampshire just keep it on two wheels for two consecutive motos. I think he'd be finishing right up there with Prado if he does.

Man, Kitchen just can't catch a break! But we have a tight points race for the final three races. That Kiwi riding blue was on FIRE this past weekend in the 250s.

Heading up to Downieville/Packer Lake to do some paddle boarding and riding myself this week.

Looking forward to Unadilla, and while its the traditional announcement weekend for our Mxdn team, it probably wont be announced until later as it has the past couple of years. Who's going to France this year?

1785251238666.pngGreat to see Hunta do it again. Those two are pretty special. CYCLE NEWS STORY

I guess Jett deserved the penalty. Sort of sucked but it was the right call.

I am really digging the 250's.. Mumford, Yoder etc are making hay inside the top 10 and the whole mix up of who is fast is interesting. Levi hanging on to the lead is a testimonial of the whack in 250's.

The Fastest Man on the planet eluded toward Eli that his time may have come, referencing his own banishment out of the top 5. :dunno

I think Prado has shown pretty well. He deserves to roll in orange in '27.

Tired of watching Jett and Hunter trade wins. Need a challenger for non-snooze fest racing. I hate aliens. Booooooring.

May as well just watch the 250 motos.
