My AWSOME voting experience...

All of our polling places are in churches, 90% of BARF would vote absentee if you all lived in my little town. :laughing

same here in Modesto, I am registered absentee, but I never mailed it because I changed my mind on a couple props, so I went to my local polling place assigned to me, which was a church.

I did the search for polling places within a 5 mile radius and besides 2 schools the rest of them were all churches.:thumbdown

You can volunteer your own place if you dislike what is available! :thumbup

Get involved and change what you don't like!

It's funny; the tenderloin is built on quake resistant bedrock, in one of the most strategic real estate locations in the city, yet there is no sign of it ever ceasing to be a human septic tank of a neighborhood. I wish I knew what has kept the real estate moguls from buying, leveling and rebuilding. It's not like city officials can't be (and aren't currently being) bribed!

voting in Pleasant Hill was completely uneventful....I walked 1/4 block to a local church (there are 3 or 4 on my street) and went right through....I'm now grilling hamburgers to celebrate :teeth
