My bike hates my car

Big benefit of a car over a bike is not having to drag around riding gear when you get where you’re going.
Went to an outdoor car show couple of weekends ago and my buddy wanted to ride there. Screw that, was hot out and no way I was carrying around helmet gloves and jacket. Drove in comfort with the AC cranked.

Totally agree, even with a big top case, I can only fit a lid, maybe my jacket/gloves. On a hot day, anything beyond that is too much to carry!

Funny enough, I just ordered a new "standard" trunk floor for the car. Previous owner specced it with the "low profile" spare... that takes up 1/3 of the trunk space. No thanks, I'll just get a spare tire storage kit/bag (less tire).

Congrats on the new ride. I'm fortunate enough to have the same problem. I have a 2018 Mustang GT Premium w/ PP1 and 500 HP. It's parked in the garage next to my ZRX and I always feel 'a little' guilty when I opt for the car over the bike. As you said, riding the bike requires much more work due to all of the gear needed. My daily is a 2021 Ford Ranger.

Oh, and if you guys have any doubts about what Budman says about Burning Rubber while getting on the Freeway---- one day (several years ago), I was exiting SB 101 at Rengstorff Ave and I hear this really loud, beautiful, Black Cadillac CTS-V getting onto the freeway (quickly) at 5:05 PM and I thought to myself; That must be Bud".
