The article title says fridge but then in the article it mentions car. Thats a big difference and a little sneaky but still the financial planning of a large percentage isn't a far sighted plan.

True. The cheapest good fridge I could find was $1500. And hell, I can get an AR15 for that!
 
It's weird how so many people don't have backup $$$$. Even if you're poor, there's no excuse. Shit happens.

seems to based on what people reprieve they need... most probably pay $150 for cable and $150 in cell phones every month too.
