need help with DSL service/provider

long story short,DSL went down last thursday,made 5 attempts with yahoo DSL and no luck,so i cancel my account.i haven't check with comcast,so what are you,my follow barfers,have as your DSL provider?TIA,carry on.....

I've had DSL Extreme for about 8 years and the service has been pretty good. I have the 6Mb/768Kb plan and my actual speed is about 5.1Mbps downstream and 630Kbps upstream. I pay a little more than cable because I have static IP addresses, but if you just want one dynamic IP, it's a lot cheaper.

I use www.speakeasy.net

They're fast, reasonably priced, have a lot of different packages so you can get pretty much exactly the level of service that you want, and they're customer service is fantastic. They remind me of the friendly mom & pop ISPs that used to exist before all the major conglomerates took over. Granted, they were purchased by Best Buy last year, but I've yet to see that be really reflected in price or QOS.
