Netflix users who were grandfathered in are about to be un-grandfathered.

Jesus there are some shills in this thread.

I'll be honest beasts of no Nation was the only Netflix production I thought was any good.

While excellently acted, House of Cards is about the most despicable people and ended up wanting them all to die.

I stopped watching it because hoping everyone would die wasn't a good enough reason to finish.

Yeah, for the price it's a bargain.

Haven't watched either one of those shows...which is exactly my point. So much interesting stuff, a person can never catch up on it all.

I've got HBO streaming along with Netflix streaming. I find more to watch on Netflix. Brit comedy Peep Show starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb has been the best find on Netflix for me. Hilarious. BUT, I just found out season 9 of Peep Show is on Hulu. I really don't want to subscribe to another service. Bummed.

Yea, i also remember block buster having new releases though. Honestly, netflix is just cheap enough not to cancel the subscription. The content honestly sucks.

Had it for a year or so. Currently $7.99/mo. Not sure if my subscription will go up, but I think$9.99 would still be a bargain.

Gave up comcast & don't miss it at all.

For a while I thought the content was lacking & then when I learned how to use the remote properly...Dayem, there is a lot of stuff to watch. I like classic films & found To Kill a Mockingbird the other night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

So you don't buy that theory that only new movie are good? Me either.

Only time I'm bummed about all this is when I rent a movie on Amazon Prime then discover it was already on Netflix. :mad :p

Just because Netflix might have "The Godfather" doesn't mean I want to watch it for the 100th time. You could have bought it from walmart in the $2.99 bin already yet you continue to pay $8 ($10) a month for movies you've already seen 10 times. There's enough of "great" movies on there to justify the cost, i'm just tired of seeing old titles. Like I give a f*ck about watching top gun again.

Meh, wont' really bother me to pay a little more. I certainly waste enough time at work to offset the new cost.

Anyone think Amazon prime is worth it to double up on coverage? Better movie selection? Tv show selection? Exclusive content stuff?

I'd rather see a classic I have never seen, than watch something because it is new. I like movies that leave enough sex & violence to your imagination, rather than go for the gross-out. :laughing

The only movie I have ever watched more than twice is Blazing Saddles & Young Frankenstein. Seldom watch a movie more than once.
I agree that seeing the titles in a better format would help.

Meh, I use prime for the shipping stuff.
Their selection is typically very b grade so I look at it as just a bonus.

Everyone I know that has anything to do with DC watches House of Cards like a crack fiend. :laughing

I can see the appeal but any politics show has to follow West Wing for me and that's hard to do.

I'll gladly pay $9.99 for streaming content. I sill get 3 discs a week as well. I've been a subscriber since '99. I think it's probably the greatest entertainment value ever.

IMO, Prime was worth it just for Justified. IDK though, I let my Prime sub expire.

I do find the UI trying to browse Prime movies/shows/music to be really cumbersome.

FlGHT ME. :x

A girl I was dating in 2002 made me watch Top Gun for the first time. That relationship fell apart fast. :twofinger
