Wow just WOW! I feel like I got conned. It's Erin's birthday so I had flowers sent to her at work.

They should have been amazing looking. I knew something was fishy when after I filled out all the billing info on the next page they did a 20.00 up in price for some bullshit because I am not a member.

WTF NEVER USE FTD!!! That cost me 80.00 and when I called they didn't seem to give a shit. At first they tried to pawn off a 20.00 gift cert on me which is on their front page! After hearing them attempt to explain to me why there weren't the proper flowers I told them I want a refund and they said the flowers would have to be picked up. Imagine if this was for a funeral and not Erin's Bday. It's already bad enough! Then they gave me 20% off in which I told them to shove it and now I am stuck with shitty flowers at a 30% discount which kinda covers the 20.00 hike in price that they threw on me last minute. Fuck those guys! Fuck them up, fuck them down, fuck them all around!

At least they didn't come in a box. I used Pro Flowers once a long time ago. A box of flowers that the recipient has to cut and self arrange, WTF. I call the florist directly now.
 
Agreed, absolutely horrible business. Last year, I saw a Groupon deal, and it was approaching Mother's Day, so I figured, why not?

They didn't deliver the flowers. I call the following Monday, "you are out of our service area." Oh yeah? You didn't know that when I placed the order?

Same thing, promised me a $25 credit or some shit, that never arrived. FUCK that site.
 
at least OP got flowers. they seem to think anything I order should be delivered after the birthday or anniversary. :x
 
Yup. I've learned that it is cheaper and better to just Yelp the closest flower shop to where you want the flowers delivered and just call them directly.
 
bling, same here. It's crazy what people just leave laying on the ground in those places.
 
Yep same mistake here. Beautiful picture so I order online. Wife comes home with this dixie cup with like 5 flowers in it. She was happy and couldn't figure why i was so pissed.
 
AGREED!!! I got jacked by them this past Valentines Day!! Turns out many have similar stories :(

yep, except they own the relationship, not the shop, so they pocket a bunch of money on the referral and the shop doesn't give a crap about you since FTD is their customer, not you. Ditch the online flower sites and just call up a local florist.

I've never understood sending flowers. They're dying plants. How is that romantic or thoughtful? Eh, I'm the odd one out I guess. I prefer Edible Arrangements.
