Welcome to BARF, abfarmer! :wave

Welcome to BARF from Marin! Have you checked out the Vintage forum? Will we be seeing one of those 2 wheeled gems on the Easter ride? Good to have you here,

Do tell us about those motos. They are not "run of the mill"...

like, I know what the Honda is, not the Kawi...,

I bought the KZ from a guy in the Mission for $500. Actually, he trusted me to owe him the last $100 and I never went back and paid him. I won't make excuses, but I was young and broke, and that leads to many an asshole decision. That weighed on me for a long time, but I eventually found the old bill of sale with his full name and turns out he's in NY now. So I was able to Venmo him his $100 and atone for at least one of my sins.

It was my daily rider between Lower Haight and North Beach for years. Sold on the bike awhile back, so this old Instagram-filtered shot is all I could dig up easily.

The other is a project bike. My grandad was an auto mechanic in the boot heel of Missouri, and always had bikes that we could play around on when we came to visit. This one was my favorite, but sat in his very leaky garage for years until he passed and I inherited it. I've had it with a mechanic I met through Dave at O'Hanlon, but we didn't make a lot of progress on it. Looking to finish it up - see my other thread seeking mechanic recommendations.

Very cool to have a pic of your GP fricking lofting the front.
I hope my grand kiddo's will save one of me and do the same one day. :teeth

Fun history, and very cool photo of your grandfather!

Welcome, nice you made it to the forum after all this time. I think I joined BARF in '07, time flies. Good on ya for making Venmo amends 🙌

Welcome, that CB350 restoration is a heroic effort.
I was a CB450 guy myself, I don't think I have a single part for a 350 unfortunately.
Good luck with it

welcome, my first bike was an '89 kz440 :ride
