New BMW cruiser concept

I think it looks pretty cool, though not sure about the wood panels... Those might not make production though since it's simply oiled... That'd make for some high maintenance panels...

But overall, if I were to actually consider getting a bagger, this would def be on my short list, assuming it makes production.

:thumbup

Coming from BMW, saves it... Real wood is right, right is what they do.

I've owned three BMW's and liked two of them.

But yes, they are an excellent manufacturer...but...you did realize, right, that EVERY BMW now comes with ABS, right? :laughing

Times have changed.... ABS is right for these times.

Pathetic/incompetent/never learned how to finesse their brake applications, and never will, types are the now generation. :laughing

I'm not going to be buying a new (or any) BMW, so... no issue here.

Not true, the new hipster model has no ABS, heated grips, or other good stuff.

From their website:

ABS as standard. Now on all current models.*
German and European statistics speak for themselves: an anti-lock braking system (ABS) on a motorcycle is the most effective assistance system to make riding a motorbike safer. BMW Motorrad recognized this irrefutable fact early on and has fitted ABS in a range of models since 1993.

Today the technology is fully mature, with dozens of tests and racing victories demonstrating the practical capabilities of ABS. This is why BMW Motorrad now asks the question: why wait until 2016 for the obligatory introduction of ABS? If there is a technology which makes motorcycling safer, it should be available to all riders.

For this reason, BMW Motorrad is taking action for its riders right away and will be the first manufacturer in the world to equip all its new models with ABS as standard. Here we demonstrate once again that we are the most pioneering motorcycle manufacturer - and that there is nothing of greater importance to us than the safety of our riders.

I'd rather be right than popular, so I've got that going for me. :teeth :laughing
