I trying to replace my old gloves Held Phantoms Pro new they list for almost $500.00
There telling me Kangaroo Skin is out now in California and my last Held Gloves had Kangaroo skin.
Any suggestions on replacement other then Held Phantoms ?
I need the gloves to have the squeegee on the finger to wipe the water off my shield and wet weather.
I guess I’m trying to ask what’s your favorite street gloves for summer conditions ?
If it’s Held Phantoms or something else.

I got a pair of Held Titans from FC Moto, overseas shipped to CA.
No squeegee, but they can be added.
FC and other EU retailers stock held and ship to CA, kangaroo or not.
But you prolly know all that....
I agree with TWT

This. Ordering from overseas is so easy these days. Usually prices are cheaper and shipping can be just as fast.

The Titan fingers are a tiny bit shorter than Phantom 2, which was great for me.

Check Ebay.
I found 2 pair of Euro spec "Steve" gloves on there a while back. They are WAY nicer than the "new Steves" (black and gray)
I know how this sounds but, if I really love something that'll wear out, I get 2 or 3 of them when I can, like my Helimot Buffalo and a pair of Helimot Race gloves.

Yes, I am a motorcycle gloves fetishist!

Sadly, when I was working for Porsche I had a couple of cars that I would love to have now. Nobody told me those G-series 911s woufd be soaring in value in 2026.

Held Phantoms?

And, if you'd consider something used,.Washing gloves with Woolite can clean leather gloves pretty well.
I've kept a pair of older Helimot gloves alive for years
Even a broken seam can be fixed, by hand or by a competent seamstress.

Good call on FC-Moto. I just ordered a pair of gloves and delivered to California, after tariffs, it was 5 dollars less than I could have gotten them in the states, had it delivered to Texas and then shipping it from Texas to California.

My original Held Phantoms lasted me over 10 years until the fingers started wearing out. I got a pair of Held Phantom II's about 2 years ago and they have worn in nicely and still look like new. Excellent build quality and materials. I got them through Chromeburner. They have good prices and fast international shipping.

I'm a fan of Racer gloves. My Held Phantoms were thick and I didn't get a lot of feel, but they did last a long time. Racers are less durable in terms of long term wear and tear, but I've crash verified them and they hold up, lol. Feel is incredible right out of the box.

Mail them to my house in Oregon? 😂

Held or nothing for me.
What size are your paws? You refused to shake my hand when we met :)unsure:) the other week, so I don't know. I have a used pair that you are welcome to if they fit. The studs/rivets saved my palms once, but they are in great shape. LMK. Red, black and kangaroo colour, by the way.

Size large/9.

I didn’t mean to make you feel bad! Sorry if I did.

Oh Jeez, give me a break! When we met I respected your prior post re: not assuming a hug was in order; as such your hug was very welcomed and appreciated. Trust and friendship, I respect you, dear lady. Now, about the gloves; where to mail them for your perusal?

I’ll dm you! :love

I have four pair of Racers. They are very good. They have a Lot of safety features in the street and ventilated street gloves that the Hi Racer (trackday and sport riding) gloves have.

So nobody has a recommendation for some other brand of gloves for those of us that love the Held gloves?

I have three pairs of them, one relatively new and two with holes in the fingers, but I still wear them on short rides anyway. I probably have eight other pairs of gloves of various brands and NONE of them are even close to as good.

I checked FC-Moto for Held Steve gloves. They have them in size S, but not in the 19 other sizes on their menu. I need XL.

I have some Lee Parks gloves that have lasted forever. I got them at moto show. Those don’t happen anymore unfortunately.
The challenge with gloves is the need to try a few on in person. A couple of”mediums” may be different. A moto shop may not want to spend the money to carry a bunch of sizes.

Racer gloves are my go-to also
