Newbie & her Rebel500SE🤗

Not sure, how can I get your contact on here so we can texting each other?
Your account is too new to send a private message on here and I'm not about to put my number on full blast but we've got a couple options.

We could meet up at a local boba or coffee place after work sometime just to get face to face. Wouldn't be a long hang out since we're both busy during the week, just say hi and exchange contact info.

Or if you would prefer, I'll likely be at the next Cycle Gear bike night (SJ parkmoor location). I believe the next one is in three weeks on Apr 14. That takes the pressure off a one on one meeting and you can meet other bikers and exchange info with them as well, if you like. It's just a little bit of a wait until that happens.

That's a bit far for me to go but I hope you find a riding friend soon. I recommend reading David Hough's book, "Street Strategies." I found it very useful when I was a newer rider.
Thank you ao much! I will look it up. And if you come down here one day, dont hesitate to reach out ✨❤️‍🔥

Their website says it runs 5-8pm. You don't have to stay for the whole thing (I'll probably head out early for dinner) but it can be a lot of fun and it's a way to meet fellow riders.

Ok,sounds like a planned, I probably wont get there until closed to 6pm since my office is in Burlingame, it will be alot of traffic back to SJI and I might have a couple of girls that are newbies too join as well. Looking forward to see you and meet all riders! 🙏✨❤️‍🔥

Welcome Rebel Rider! The latest episode of the Motorcycles and Misfits Podcast has a bunch of stuff about all the different Rebel models, and they are a lot of fun.

Welcome! I spout the same drivel whenever I meet a new rider so here I go: I know this sounds like too much too soon, but consider a track day. It's fine you don't have a track bike. I learned more about bike control in one track day than I ever did in 10 years of street riding, and much more safely too. Find a track operator who has good educational component. You won't be sorry, and you'll be a much more confident rider. GL, HF!

Here are the real newbies of Mt HAmilton. Prepping to do some wheelies;

Thank you very much for the information, appreciate any recommendations 🙏I'm still at beginner path and will take it slow to build up confidence and skills, but definitely will try track rides one of these days probably joining MSF instructor when she recovered from her knee surgery.

We will head over to the bike night thing on the 14th...
Maybe we can have a BARF contingent. I think they do a slow race; maybe I'll ride my Alta.
Awesome! I will be there with a friend or two. it would be fun to see race, all cool bikes and meet people. Not too sure about riding my bike there tho, got all gears and license but still pretty nervous 😅😂

As an Admin I can send emails to you both if you wish to connect you.

I am going to plan on being down in SJ for the 14th as well.

Nervous is good. Navigating traffic is serious business. If I ride the Alta I will truck it to my friend’s shop a few blocks away.
