Newbie in Emerald Hills - just sold my triumph street tripple R, looking for next bike

Hey all! I have been riding off and on for the last 6 years or so. Started out with a DR650 and moved to a Street Tripple R. For my next bike I was thinking a scrambler 1200 - something a bit more relaxed. Thoughts?

First of all, welcome. I don't have any advice on what bike to pick but here's a few questions to get the party started.

What kind of riding do you do? Street only? Off-road stuff sometimes?

How often do you ride? Daily? Weekend warrior only?

How far do you normally travel on a ride? Are you planning long distance stuff or just staying around town?

Do you ride alone or with a passenger?

Are you planning on modifying the bike or keeping it stock?

Someone will say TurboBusa so let’s just get that BS out of the way.

The KTM mid size ADV’s would light my fire if I was not an old road racer that needs the Mach 1 speed once in a while.

@Cornfish ’s bike kind of looks like something that can share anything moto as far as experiences go.
