Newbie looking for tent trailer

2019 Harley Davidson soft tail slim
Hi Y’all! New to this group and I don’t know why it took me so long to find all of you! Lots of great threads and info. I have a 2019 softtail slim and have been riding about 15 years. I plan on packing my life up in Cali and ridding cross county this spring. My husband and I will be moto camping most the time and plan on taking a few months to really enjoy it all. Sooo we are looking for a moto camper AKA tent trailer. Too-Da-Loo!
 
That sounds like a fun plan. Not everyone has the time or finances to do something like that.

Whereabouts are you planning to move to?

If you’re talking towing a trailer behind the bike to carry your belongings etc Bananachunks is your guy. Not sure if his was a tent trailer or not.
Regardless you’ve come to the right place to ask questions and chronicle your adventure.

We plan on buying a sailboat in the British Virgin Islands and living aboard. We have worked hard and retired early. With not enough money but as of now we have lots of time.

I’ve lived aboard since 1994. Sailboats, powerboats and next month move onto a floating home.
Spent a lot of time in the ‘80s sailing the Virgin Islamds, Bahamas and even a season in Venezuela. It’s a great life worth the work and if you have the slightest amount of skills you can pick up as little extra income easily,

Amazing! We are so ready to start a life aboard it’s been a few years planning and finally it’s come down to go time. Now we need a good tent trailer to haul behind one of our bikes!

Having visited a few places in the Caribbean, Tortola (capitol of the BVI) is my absolute favorite. Best wishes on your search and your adventure.
