That assumes you think all 4 QBs are the same, which they aren't.
You don't have to worry about someone else taking the guy you want if you wait to pick a QB at 4.
Yeah, right now the common thought is that the Browns take a QB at #1 and then Barkely at #4 if NY (QB) and Indy (Brad Chubb) pass on him.
i don't see Indy passing. They possibly have luck and just traded for Brissett.
Gore just got cut loose and they have that kid Alex Mack (?) in their backfield
Indy would be taking BPA as well as PoN while simultaneously not offending Luck
seems like a no brainer
so, for CLE to get him they'd have to start w him then get a guaranteed QB at #4
and really as long as they like 3 of those 4 QB's they're guaranteed one of them
Rosen to NYG would be the perfect scenario for them.
Browns taking Darnold would be bad IMO. Rosen is the best QB in the draft and the most NFL ready. Darnold needs more work and that's not Hue Jackson's thing.
I think Rosen/Darnold/Barkley go 1-2-3
Honestly Barkley would be a "win now, last hurrah for Eli" pick at 2 for NYG also, while Rosen would be the
It's just so crazy to take a RB that high anymore. Even if he actually is the next AD, the best case scenario is he plays 5-7 years at an elite level. The league just chews up and spits out RBs not named Frank Gore so fast, it's not an economical move to use a such a high draft pick on a position with such a low shelf life.
i intentionally try not to romanticize athletes too much
Frank "the Inconvenient Truth" Gore makes it really fucking difficult to keep my business in my pants
I watched Montana, Rice, Steve Young, Bryant Young, Willis, Craig, Bowman, Owens, Lott, et al play...... Gore is by far my favorite Niner ever
no contest
his story is a solid Hallmark Lifetime channel movie about persevering through horrific injuries and worse coaching / team mates but still finding a way to be a stud and staying humble
at least.... i assume he's humble. i can't understand a word he says lol
(p.s. - please come home, Frank. please..... join the Jimmy G train. one ticket to the promised land.arty)
