NFL 2018/2019 Thread

If anybody actually liked Terrell Owens I'm sure someone would've done the popcorn/pom-pom/autograph thing as an homage. :dunno

Anybody see the CFL lineman run over to the stands and chug a beer after his team scored? Can't imagine that ever happening in the NFL....

I saw that. No way the No Fun League allows that

I've been to a few CFL games, they are fun. A couple at BC Place in Vancouver and some really fun ones in Regina, Saskatchewan. Something fun about football outside on a warm prairie night when you are used to football being out in cold and crappy weather. :p

It was stupid and selfish for the situation, the Rams got the ball back closer to midfield, but Buck and Aik knew what was up even though they went with their holier than thou routine.

The thing is, the sports "pundits" keep saying that NFL is too staid and square (read white) compared to NBA etc. and has to get with it to appeal to younger demographic, etc etc. You can't have it both ways. I thought it was funny, but Payton didn't care for it. But where else besides that town and that stadium for such things? It was kinda perfect and unexpected.

Yeah, I dunno when Jerra pulls the plug on Garrett. I didn't see but a bit of the game because of Dubs so I don't have full picture of what transpired. But is he at the bottom compared to some of the other coaches around the league? Or is that, relative to the fancy stadium, hype and expectations for American's team bla-bla.?

It would've been funnier had it not been that situation, which is why coach had issue with it. But I agree, it ended up being perfect and unexpected.

... and Kap still can’t get a tryout.

Because he was never very good and is now a player in his 30's who hasn't been in the NFL in two years? How is this even a football conversation? Dude is 31, was never a good starter outside of the, "Pistol Offense," fad, and hasn't been a pro ball player for 2 years.

The last year he played, his team won 2 games and at one point he got benched for Blaine Gabbert.

Jason Garrett is SOOOOO fired....

Noooo, what if they get an actual Good Coach?

9ers chances of winning on Monday just improved, the Giants announced Eli will start.

LOL, was this ever a question?

Why do you have to go invalidating his victimhood, man?:laughing:laughing

Your microagressions are bringin' me down. You're mean....

Man crapernick is not revelant to todays nfl. Stop trying to make it happen, its not all teams passed on him 2 years ago.

He’s been letting his middle aged white male angst show just a little bit more these days. :laughing

Same here, what a mistake to get rid of the guy. Tall, fast, hand of glue and solid spatial awareness.
