Night Vision Goggles!!!! super fun!!!

Someone gave me an old pair of night vision goggles.

Supposedly theyre from the mid 90's. There's no name or any identification on them. I can't figure out who makes them

They use batteries and are super heavy. So much fun!!!
Everythings kinda green bluiesh.

I can get my house to be pitch black dark and see things...kinda well.

I can see live things (the dog) better than the furniture. Theyre kinda big and go over both eyes but have only one scope at the end.

How do i take picutures of what I see? These would be great for peeping at the fat philipino girls in Daly City.

The only thing in my house I can't see at all is my carbon fiber bike frame, but I can make out the wheels and everything else thats metal/plastic/wood.

Are these things expensive? Is somethign from 2008 better?

How much are these worth? I totally cant figure out who makes them.

Theres a place on one of the eye peieces that looks like a name sticker should go on but it's gone.

Orignal owner said he get them in 1997 from the Navy.
Full metal items like moto frame, coins, etc. come out really well, as do the dog and my hand. How do these work? Heat? I swear theres a bit of lag when I move my hand quickely in front of the goggles. The dog is in love with me so she never moves when I;m looking at her.
I wanna go walk around outside but I think I'd get arrested.
Are these really illigal to own?

I seriously doubt that dude. These work very well in PITCH BLACK DARKNESS witha absolutly no light coming out. I'll bring them to some BARF meet if I ever make it to one.
