NorCal Mini-Moto Track and Race Thread

2022 update ......

Dixon is open most weekends (Sat & Sun). Cost is $40 per rider. I advise to join their FB Group page (Kinsman Kart Club) for more accurate info and current events

Allen is still supporting this track and has bike rentals. Contact him for details.

As for Stockton, the provider (Tony & Heather) are accepting 2022 renewal and new memberships. Allen is not supporting this track, fyi. The surface has been updated. However, it was not done right. Tony does not plan to put in the money or effort to having it done correctly. Therefore, ride at your own risk.

For membership, go to FB Little 99 Kart & Moto track Group page. You can reach out to Heather or go to their webpage to purchase a renewal ($300) or new membership ($350)

Surface is ok for new and intermediate riders. For the more experience, the surface does not offer grip confidence as it once did before. Unfortunately. Unless perhaps you want to practice "slides" or less than ideal surface grip...... lol

As for Sonoma / Infineon, go to their website and check for track availability for "Moto's" - Most Mondays and Thurs. Once in a blue moon, a Sunday. Moreover, you will need to purchase your track day on their page as well. Not sure if they are accepting payment on site. Contact them for more info.

My go to place these days are Dixon :ride

Man I cannot find this info - "As for Sonoma / Infineon, go to their website ..." can someone provide a link that shows available dates and prices for bikes? I see lot's of stuff on karts but not what I need.

I don't know what you mean by prices for bikes they don't rent bikes it's BYOB =P

but its $60 fullday
and $40 for half day

You need to look for the dates that say moto practice or motos and karts practice and click on it and purchase the ticket in there. I guess with this new surge they are probably strict on the booking again.

Thanks, just what I needed. I'm interested in renting an Ohvale, not sure if he gets up this way. Stockton oval looks boring. I sent him a note.

Thanks for the update. I'll avoid Stockton 99. I guess Sonoma is the last viable sumo track for the Bay Area.

Thanks for posting! .... I had trouble looking for this info as well. I don't go to Infineon too often. My go to place these days is Dixon (Fairfield area).

Ed Enriquez is the only person I know of in our local area that rents out Ohvale's. Contact Allen for his info.

Otherwise, Allen rents out Kayo's and some other bikes as well.

For many of us that used to frequent Stockton now mostly go to Dixon (see Track and Race thread for details). Dixon is open to moto's most weekends (Sat & Sun) these days, being that Allen supports their track. $40 per rider. I suggest to join their FB group page to keep up on current announcements ;)

He is. He's got a triple-crown event happening this year - first race is out in Reno, one of them is at Sonoma.
 
Wife and I are looking to get into the little bike supermoto track days. I was hoping Stockton 99 was the place to go as it is closest to us. Gonna look into Dixon

Stockton is open. I have updated the Stockton info in the Track thread. Get a hold of Heather, or contact Allen for any general info of wanting to attend or purchasing a membership.

Stockton track surface is good enough for beginner / Intermediate, or those that ride foot out style (used to front and or rear stepping out).

The surface these days just doesn't offer ideal grip confidence for faster (knee out) riders. I love Stockton. I just wish the surface was at least as good prior to resurfacing, which was predictable.

Dixon is fun. It just doesn't offer the variability of track configuration changes as Stockton does.
