Does anyone know what the northernmost civilian settlement in North America that's connected by land is?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrow,_Alaska

Barrow is a city in North Slope Borough of the U.S. state of Alaska. Barrow is the northernmost settlement on the North American mainland and in the United States, and one of the northernmost towns of more than 2,000 residents in the world...

Looks that way too on the globe/map.

Then it's settled...

I'll start from Barrow Alaska on my way to Ushuaia. At least it's American soil when I start.

Thanks!

On a Fireblade too? Remember, pics or it didn't happen :p

You can't actually ride to Barrow, though. There's no road. The northernmost point reachable by road is Deadhorse (Prudhoe Bay).

Yep.

And Meter Man has already planted a Barf flag there a few months back. :x

Prudhoe bay. Anyone read "Road Fever" by Tim Cahill?
Drive to Prudhoe bay. From Terra Del Fuego. As fast as possible.
Good book.

My 929 days are numbered. I am looking a the new BMW F800GS. This is also many years in the planning stages. Right now I am in the dreaming stage. :staRang

it's actually a pretty easy ride up to Prudhoe. The haul rode isn't as bad as it's been made out to be, was up there riding it in July. Even the cbr would do ok if you are comfy riding on gravel.
