Street cleaning huh?? :cool

Can't have those stoners stumbling over the homeless or stepping in poo now can we?

San Francisco Strip Clubs, Pot Shops Roll Out Welcome Mat for APEC

If I wasn't out of town I'd be tempted to swing by the gold club to see if there were any stoned and horny diplomats present. :laughing

:laughing :thumbup

Well someone’s got to get some dough.

Apparently the night market in Chinatown, happening right now) is a good deal as well…at least that’s what the website says….

Dunno, it feels like this will seriously stunt the city and might cut some bucks off some businesses. I wondered which bars would be good to hang out in,,,..but I bet many of the attendees will have separate events. :dunno

That sucks.. fucking thieves. :thumbdown

SF-based media outlets have stepped up and provided the journalists with equipment so they continue to do their work, she said.

What is interesting in this is that I definitely see more police cars buzzing about, in the last 1.5 weeks.

But I guess not buzzy enough for this type of 2 minute second crime.

And also what was interesting that I did see a police car at an intersection today and the car across from it signalling to do a forbidden Left....but the police car turned right (i.e. in the future direction of travel of both) and didn't do anything about the car (now behind it...)

yah,
this the good part. Or one of it... I guess.

GOOOLLD CLUBBBB. Was the standard go-to place for us in college after a night partying at Ruby Skye or another night club. Wake up, get some greasy food from the lunch buffet at Gold Club, then drive back to Stockton.

yeah.. that part is not so good. Those Clubs, not good reputation. (Actually the first one is gone and renamed, no?) Don't know much about it, or of anything, though. :afm199 :party

I don't know what the hell that author is talking about.

Not sure what's "polarizing" about a night club.

I've never seen any sleaziness inside or outside or any fights. Maybe some stuff happened sometimes. I wasn't there every weekend.

But I could say that about probably any concert venue in America.

I'm aware it closed but it had nothing to do with whatever bad behavior you heard might have happened there. It was highly rated venue (nationally).

Ruby Sky was fine, seemed pretty put together compared to some places I've been.

I was born in San Francisco in 1948 and moved to Clear Lake Oaks in 1965
when my parents bought a walnut orchard... sure the city on the hill has
change beyond belief since then... but I remember how proud I felt riding my
Honda 160 across the Golden Gate bridge and joining the masses at Golden
Gate park celebrating something called free love... Every time I cross the
bridge I feel like I'm coming home...

People born in San Fransisco have given so much to America why the list of
