Now that's the SF I know

Wat? Wait, so many I see listed were born elsewhere. Is this a trick post? Like, for sure Mickey Hart was born in NY and Carlos Santana was born in in Mexico, Steve Miller in WI…et al. Not sure this isn’t just a list of favorite folks from wherever who hung out in SF? Either way San Francisco rocks and does feel like coming home to me too.

GOOOLLD CLUBBBB. Was the standard go-to place for us in college after a night partying at Ruby Skye or another night club. Wake up, get some greasy food from the lunch buffet at Gold Club, then drive back to Stockton.

Ruby Skye was always prime time for tourists. As much as I was horrified by the sea of Gold Chain wearing EuroTrash chasing after local Asian Girls pretending to be, "wayyyy tooo druuuunk," it is kind of sad to me that it is gone.

I just kind of want it to be there doing what it does, kind of like Pier 39.

Yeah, Sid Vicious is one of the most English Artists ever who played in one of the most English bands ever. I have to assume in classic SF fashion, whoever wrote it was high as fuck and didn't really know what they were talking about, so they just went with their groove.
