OEM "style" Fairings... Worth it or not?

Does anybody have experience buying aftermarket fairings that look like OEM? I've seen "OEM style" fairings for ~$800 online and I'm curious if they're worth the buy.

If anybody has insight/experience into how they fit, how they look in comparison to stock OEM, which brands are/aren't recommended, etc I'd greatly appreciate it!

(if it makes a difference, the bike I'm looking to buy them for is an 06/07 Gsxr 750)

just make sure they are guaranteed fit. our kits are 750.00 itself. 850.00 installed and guaranteed to fit without all the cutting/trimming. all bolt holes line up and no need for cable ties that we have seen people use on the ebay kits. GL

Every time this question comes up I always reply the same: buyer beware. I bought Chinese fairings off ebay for my CBR600F3 about 4 years ago. The cliff notes:

- they looked better than my 12 year old fairings
- clearcoat was super thin and paint flaked within a couple weeks
- no heat shielding on them, so they warped near the exhaust
- pre-drilled, but pre-drilled all the wrong size, and off a bit. Redrill and install took 12 hours.
- no hardware included

I wouldn't do it again for a bike that I really cared about. Maybe for a track bike or a beater.

Do you have those in stock? I need some for a 06-07 r6r. Not the r6s
