California Corrections Dept released a pic a 74 year old Charles Manson, and frankly, he looks rather sad and pathetic in his old age, not to mention that stupid scar on his forehead.

When I was kid, Manson (and the Zodiac) were the "boogeymen" in the news, with Manson being especially scary because of the ways he got people to commit the murders... it was used as an extreme in countless anti-drug demos we got in grade school.

He was the "boogeyman" to me too as a kid. A parole officer came to my high school one day to give a talk to our class, someone asked him whether or not Manson would ever be parolled and he said "they open the file and then close the file ... he'll never get out." I hope that guy was right.

the media like to sensationlize his status and lotta wannabes tried to pretend they're "crazy" like him..

um..those who are locked up with him will say he's just a "punk" and just a source of income by the Aryan Brotherhood / Nazi Low Riders while everyone else would love the chance of taking him out just to gain notoriety....

jeffrey dalmer, anyone..?

back in the 80s, he got set on fire and for not taking revenge on it, he was looked down even more..

by today's standards, manson is nothing....

I honestly didn't think he would last this long. I figured someone would have taken him out a looooong time ago. His insanity is probably what is saving him. He is a fruit cake. Nuttier then a walnut tree.

if he wasn't a source of income for the AB, he would of been dead long ago...it's all about enterprising even in prisons...

his followers pay for his "protection" in prison....:rofl

He’s best ignored. The driving force behind a lot of these nuts is the attention they get. Stick him in a dark hole somewhere and try to forget he ever existed. Treating this guy like a celebrity just encourages the next psycho.

:rofl nah...today he's probably more protected by guards than $$$ ....

when he was in vacaville, some people had fun with him in the medic ward...

Just imagine the rep points a prisoner would gain by PIITB of Charles Manson! :laughing

educated in the penal system made him more dangerous.
his plan of helter skelter was an ultimate ambition to take over the world which he really believed he could pull off.
a lot of criminals educated in the penal system take that education and hurt innocent people which still irks me.
the needles killing of the pregnant wife of Roman Polanski that was murdered by the Manson Clan makes me furious.
cock suckers like this need to be put to death right away and slowly.

Interest factoid about Manson: He was taught guitar by Alvin "Creepy" Karpis, one of the most famous depression-era bank robbers. He ran with Pretty Boy Floyd and the Ma Barker Gang.

next time you're at the store check out ironhorse mag for a 3 page interview. i got bored after 1 page and started checking out bikes.
