Strange.I don't see why there should be any extra space after a period.Seems totally unnecessary.Don't you agree?

Looking for two spaces after a comma is a method that recruiters use to eliminate candidates that are too old.

Not kidding.

If your fist cpu was a Smith Corona, consider changing this habit.

After a comma? I wasn't aware two spaces after a comma was a thing for anyone.

After reading this nonsense, I do believe I'll keep my own grammatical punctuational council .

This might be my favorite thread! I try to not be a grammar nazi but I ALWAYS want to. Not really here but almost every time I go to the book of face. Not sure if it's just me or if this happens to other people but if I know you had a decent education, I lose respect if you don't know the difference in there, their, they're. My personal favorite is when my 42 year old sister can't spell "you" but instead uses "u".

Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation is quickly going by the wayside and this makes me sad.

Yep. Mother was a college English / Language teacher; her twin was a technical editor for Battelle Engineering. Language is a living thing but correct use of words is important.

So I'm told.
