Too bad it's only an outlap/sighting lap. A full-speed lap would be amazing.

I bet they don't make so many adjustments once they really get going. Just while he's getting really to get going.

soooooooo smooth....do you guys know if this is a full-speed lap or not? I see people saying both. if it is, i'm surprised it seems so....calm.....

No, they make adjustment in-race as well, due to the issues they have with braking that hard. I Just didn't realize it was that frequent, as to be done on an almost a turn by turn basis.

edit: I'm wrong. He adjusted the lever once down the straight. All the other times he was clutching.

I do the exact same stuff, except I'm about 5x slower and there's a lot more screaming involved while on track. There's probably less crying and whining on my end off-track though.

it's both a sighting lap and an "up to speed" lap.

It was from multiple different laps actually. Team is concerned about giving up information that can be used competitively... hence the blurred out dash as well

It is amazing how stable the bike looks when its leaned over so far. It gets far more goosey on the straights but is as stable as a rock through those turns. Simply amazing

I've looked at a lot of the pics and comparing them to an overhead shot and it's Turn 6.

they are straight up 2-wheel porn:

His lean angle on his first two cold tire corners is farther than I have probably EVER leaned a bike. Faaaack U, Casey :laughing
