No more :(
On 580 east, right at 238, all the way to highway 13 a LEO Moto was cruising along at 60mph.

NO ONE WOULD PASS HIM!

Traffic was backed up a ton. Open highway in front of the moto. A bunch of cars stacked up. No one had the cajones to pass him.

Rel -

do you ever see this and decide to just pull off the road? Thinking it might be a hazard. It's impeding traffic.

I hate when people do that shit. If you're going the speed limit and it happens to be faster then the speed of the LEO...then FUCKING GO!!!!

Drives me nuts

And I was in my cage, in the parade.

should have used the shoulder to pass everyone else (at 65mph, of course) and pass the LEO....showing everyone that its ok to do....

and just for the record, i second the BS on the M4M.....

Sorry, I was finishing up a bowl, and every time I pass a cop while smoking they shake me down for a hit...

To be honest, that is the one "dick move" that cops pull that I have always found hilarious.

Disclamer: I am not claiming that all cops make "dick moves", nor that all cop moves are by nature "dick moves".

I always enjoy a LEO traveling in the slow lane on a highway 5 miles below the speed limit because it always cracks me up how many people will refuse to pass, and fall into a procession behind said officer. I generally pass when safe with a smirk and smile/wave for the officer in question (going the limit of course). They always reciprocate.

Pay attention, notice when cops need a laugh too.

Exactly,I have passed several and I always wave and I saw him smile and shake his head at all the idiots behind him lol

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't pass them, unless you have something to be afraid of, pass the cop.

I'll let you fools pass him. If he's going 35 in a 65, there's probably a citation-worthy reason for it. :x

And loud, red Italian motorcycles aren't exactly the best way to be inconspicuous.

The only 2 reason a cop would do 35 in a 65 is A, theres an emergency in which case his lights will be on, or B, he's a douche. If a cop is in the slow lane going 60, change lanes and go, there's no reason to get pulled over for going 65 in a 65.

...hypothetical extreme situation that I made up to make a point at how big a chicken I am...don't waste too many brain cells on it. :)

I passed a chp moto who was lanesharing in heavy traffic on the bay bridge. He looked like he was not liking it and a little wobbly,I rolled up pretty quick on him,and when I saw him look at me in his mirror,I motioned for him to go or move over. When I rode past he put his hand on his gun,I almost fell off my bike laughing so hard. Not my fault he didn't want to go 35mph :laughing

Oh darn, I used up all my brain cells on that last statement :p

A cop was tail gating me his bumper was a foot away from me, I was going at exactly 75, not going faster or braking, cop stayed on my tail for a half a mile before changing lanes, cutting me off and pulling the guy in front.

I don't know that it's a local thing, but I've had cop (car) cruisers ride my ass hard (no homo) for a decent stretch of road. I think most of those guys are bored, and hope some dipsh*t will speed up and give them an excuse to pull the rider over.

Disclamer: I am aware that a good majority of LEO's have more work load than they can handle. To these officers, I appreciate all the work you do to keep us riders, and everybody else safe.

That being said, it seems like in any workplace, there is a POS with nothing to do (because he is incompetent) who will try to enforce every little nuance of a rule to justify his existence.

There were a couple of chp motos that would always buzz me usually coming off bay bridge into emeryville.I would be cruising 70ish and they always came outta nowhere doing 95-100 and pass me pretty close about maybe 2 feet away. The first time startled the hell outta me,but I got used to it.I think it was end of shift for them, they rode pretty synchronized very close together at high speed :hail
