Photos of your bike on location

Image tags on files that don't end in jpg can work. Here's an example (old photo that I just removed jpg from filename on)

RM twofiddy at the top of Goat Mountain? in Clear Creek. If you are an off-roader, you must ride Clear Creek.

sweet pic! glad I complained ... :laughing:thumbup

... hope to be riding past there this weekend,
may go and see if the gate is locked ... :party

apply for the permit online. It takes 48 hours to process. Make sure you get the combo before you head up on a weekend.

Ready to break camp at the top of Clear Creek Road ... off to find my
locked gate ... :ride

Boom ... there it is ... no riding around this one ... it's the new one closest
to Coalinga Road ...

Luckily a citizen riding and camping with his 8 y/o son and 5 y/o daughter
(on the tank of his old 2-stroke trail bike) came along and unlocked
the gate for me ... he had done the new right thing and had the gate lock
combo from the BLM ... nice guy, raced the Baja 1000 in '06, about my
age, god bless him ... :party

Anyway, he saved me a 50 mile back track ... he also said he'd been
through Old Hernandez Road recently, so off I headed in that direction to
see if I could go that way, too ... I'd given up about three years ago
when the water crossing got so deep ...

Glad this way to bypass a bit of Hwy 25 is back for me and my KLR ...

Awesome John!!!!

The entire Clear Creek deal is a POS if you ask me. If you call the CC Management office they provide absolutely circular answers to any questions then they "refer" you to the outside manager you go into eternal voicemail hell.

I get steamed every time I think of it.

How did you get past the gat up past the mine?
