Lunch stop at Pescadero.

I was getting ready to redo and practice DocWong’s route this Sunday when a nice group of riders invited me to join their ride. I decided to go ahead with my planned route but did say if I run into them in Pescadero I’ll join them on their next leg. So that’s what I ended up doing!

IIRC the bikes are:
Kawi ZX4RR (mine)
2 Ducati Supersport 950s
Honda CBR600RR
Kawi Ninja 650
Suzuki SV650 (though it seems like it’s not visible from this angle)
Yamaha MT03
Triumph Triple, not sure if it was the Street or Speed lol

Had to take a ride up Oak Creek, to see what USFS did to 89A, they went in to prep the road to burn, just in case it does, but it didn't.
Lots of turnouts used for parking/creek access taped off with traffic cones & larger, less than 10 trees dropped and awaiting removal, in them, also trail heads closed, taped off, all around Sedona proper.
Fire threat is gone, Forest Service left too, nobody is cleaning up anywhere,
Waiting for the fire to restart and burn it all?

Nice ride up the hill, building clouds, finally, up on top, Oak Creek Vista.
Saw lightening second pix, third, same turnout, Way bigger booms up on top,
I did get the "Ggguussstttt", then a short "crack" , then the BA, Booom
Water flow across this corner, flooded? nope.
The race is on, beat the rain, home.

My chill spot, See avatar, < Yesterday.
Same threatening weather, it chased me down the canyon ^
Quick setup, Feet up, Up tree,
And,
Last miles, I didn't make it dry, I did get a couple of wet ones, around Thunder Mtn.
Dry for the last mile.
