That road is my personal weekly route to Nick's Cove for some fish n chips. I keep wanting to stop and take pictures of my bike at those old flatbed trucks, but I've usually just passed a car and don't wanna give up my progress.Decided to meet up with a buddy who was riding back from doing the lost coast BDRx caught him in Mendocino for a late lunch and then hooned 1 back to SF and almost beat sunset. Solid riding day.
Only pics I got, usual spot on Marshall Petaluma Road. Felt like fall yesterday, it was beautiful out.

Betty's has great fish and chips as I'm sure you know.That road is my personal weekly route to Nick's Cove for some fish n chips. I keep wanting to stop and take pictures of my bike at those old flatbed trucks, but I've usually just passed a car and don't wanna give up my progress.
Lemme know when you're gonna be out that way again, I know it's often. It might be cool to meet up at Nick's one day.
So true, but she's too close. I wouldn't even get outta 3rd gear.Betty's has great fish and chips as I'm sure you know.
The ride is not as scenic as to Nick's Cove of course.

Still have a bike though it may be gone in a few weeks.So true, but she's too close. I wouldn't even get outta 3rd gear.
You're invited too, btw....if your still a motorcyclist.![]()
I never know exactly when I'll be there, but I'm free Tues and Weds so, anytime you want lunch I'm down to ride up, plenty of good riding to be had on the way and back.That road is my personal weekly route to Nick's Cove for some fish n chips. I was thinking the same thing,raising the needle.It's an Oakland bike that made a brief visit to Tahoe.
I put the carb at the settings it was at when I got it from my friend in Oakland.
But....
@ratpick
Remember I said the accelerator pump was shooting too long and too late through the mid-range when I got it?
the mid-range needle setting might have been adjusted previously to make up for that bad accelerator pump setting at midrange, so they leaned it out by raising the needle to make up for that bad AP setting. Just a guess
The needle is currently at the first clip (lean) as it was when I got it.
Now that the AP is shooting early and for one second, it might be time to richen the mid-range needle setting
I called JD jetting and got the recommendation for their jet kit on that bike and the main jet and pilot jet or what they should be, but they recommended the 5th clip with the red needle that is in there!!!
I would start by moving the clip down the needle and testing.
You just have to loosen the carb and rotate it to get to the needle. It is a bit of a pain to pull it out of the carb with the clip at the first setting as there is not much to grab.
