I think not. I'm sick and tired of people saying displacement is the king of all combustion. It's BS. I'm neither a Chevy nut nor an import fan, but shit, give credit where it's due... Displacement vs Power to weight ratio... which is more important ?
Why does my 700cc Honda kick the ass of every single 1348cc harley it see's? why does it keep up with 600's ? 750s?
Weight, AND displacement.
Displacement isnt always the answer and I can prove it.
1985 Camaro Z28, race preped with a 1994 LT1 365HP
2003 Dodge SRT-4, STOCK 225HP
I can keep up with the camaro, it has a 140HP gain on me, but the weight of the SRT allows for that difference to show. my car is over 1000 pounds lighter. 100 Pounds = -.01 on the 1/4 mile. Per average. so being 1000 pounds lighter, that .1 x 10 = 1.0 My car can be exactly 1 second slower then the camaro and still keep up...
So now I ask again, is displacement the answer to everything ?
