Pics from Cannery Row Bike Night, Saturday 7/23/11

I didn't see a single bike get tagged Thursday Friday or Saturday night.

I watch a guy get tagged in front of Coco's for riding with flashing blue LEDs on his Ducati

I wonder if LEO's gave that guy shit for rocking the trench knife :wtf

legal carry...if anything, he'll just give him a stare...unless they have a special city ordinance about it

This was the first year in a very long time, going back to the GP's of the early 90's when the gathering began as an informal sort of thing, that I did not go anywhere near Cannery Row.

I think "trench knife" usually refers to a fighting knife that has brass knuckles integrated into the design.

If he were to rock one of those, I believe it would be a felony for carrying.

I think they would be legal to possess in a home collection only, but I could be mistaken. Knife laws are so retarded it's as if my grandma wrote them. After she lost her mind.

edit: People have definitely referred to Kabar's as trench knives, too. Which that appears to be some variation of. But I always think of something that has knuckle guard.

Kabars are legal carry as long as its exposed...it might be different between each city *i know some SoCal areas banned it* but its good to go around here
