Yeah, you'll have to buy the shield with the pinlocks, then you'll have to purchase the insert separately.

Works great!

My advice is not to try cleaning the insert with whatever you'd normally use. It's sensitive to solvents and so on. I've had luck using Plexus lens cleaner with it.

^^^ Agree - I just use a Micro Fiber cloth to clean mine. Shoei helmets fog like mad and the Pinlock saved me from ditching mine. Works like a champ for sure.

I had never heard of these things until now. How much of your vision do they cover? It would be annoying to have a tinted lens that only covered the center 90% of my vision...

The pinlock insert does cut down your field of view. At first it feels like looking thru diving goggles but you'd soon get used to it. They warn you about night-time double vision (reflection between the outer shield and the inner insert), but it's so minor, it isn't a problem for me for extended night rides. For the fog-free performance it's totally worth it.

I wish those would work for me but I feel like I am going to puke when I look thru one.

no-fog is also the major selling point on the website. I happen to own a helmet that is nearly unfoggable and has an integrated flipdown tinted visor. If you are not having problems with the visor fogging up, it is even worth looking into the pinlock system? For the orange or yellow tints maybe? It looks to be about $60 for a visor+lens, which is a lot for some polycarbonate.

I wouldn't bother with the pinlock system if my visor (Shoei RF-1000) wasn't fogging up badly when it's cold/wet out.
