Places to practice?

The parking lots at Mission College is great for practicing in the evenings because there are no cracks and lots of light.
 
Once you feel comfortable to move beyond the parking lot, Montebello Rd near you would be a good road to practice on. Low traffic, it dead ends.
 
My friend in So. Cal (Brea) got permission to do gymkhana in their parking lot on weekends even would be 5 or 6 dudes couple of times a month. Try there.
 
I love the folks suggesting parking lots that are 30+ miles away from the people who've said they're not comfortable riding on streets :laughing
