Please Help!!!---Undecided Between a 2007/2008 Honda 1000rr

08 is all new. Do you race? are you faster than Jeff Tigert? no?

k then just get whichever one you like better for looks, or whichever one is cheaper if you're broke.

I would go with whatever one you can get the best deal on!! If it is the 2007 make sure you can a fairly good deal because in the eyes of the insurance...the bike is already a year old!

I have worked with people that bought a brand new bike but it was the model year before and even know that bike is still new......when I had to work up the value for the bike it was significantly less than what they owed on the bike.

well....when you buy it...you can always sell it back for the same price...:p

CBRs, R6/R1, Ninjas, and GSXRs all have good resale value

bo0o0osahhhhhh...:drool

OP..if you didnt get that..its a BARF joke....:p

You might click over and read some reviews of the 08. The ones I read compared the 07 and 08 back to back. I would definately go with the 08.

So what you are saying the '08 is better than the '07?

of course the '08 is "better" superbikes don't really decline in performance as the years pass. Is it better for YOU?

If there's enough room in your pocketbook, get the '08. I've read some of the reviews. Critics applaud the latest edition, less the aesthetics. However, I've heard that the snub-nose is designed mostly for functional reasons--and, I'm sure it's just a matter of time until the public warms-up to the new overall look. I think it's nice, personally... :)

You don't know the difference between the 2007 and 2008 models? :wtf

Please turn in your riding permit.

MY advice is to read the many reviews about this bike. There is a lot of excitment about the 2008 and I would never buy the 07 knowing how much better the '08 is.

In fact, when reading about the '08 first ride reviews, I thought, "if I ever get a I4 liter bike this could be it."

Your best bet would be to wait until you get the comparrisson reviews as the first ride reviews are always more positive than a thorough comparisson.

The real question is what do you want to do with it?
Tour, commute, streetride, 50% trackdays, race?
