Please shop at SEARS

Well, at least they treat their employees well, because they've treated this customer like ass. I hate Sears, but this is one point in their favor.

It costs only $5 to keep a customer happy but it cost $500 to regain the trust of that customer.
This is what I learned in the grocery business years ago.

I'm sorry, but I work at kmart who own "sears" and they truly don't give a shit about their employees. Were just a # like a prisoner in there eye.Especially to corporate. They treat us poorly, very poorly.

Sorry to hear that. I would move up the latter and change the system. Better to change things for the better than to look the other way. If it's of any consolation, you're not alone. This is a widespread problem across America... Take care...

Sears is having a nice sale this weekend. I may pick up the Sony Blueray player as the price is as low as anything on the web, so far. My cheapo DVD player finally is dying/died. :rip I ran my bluerays on my PS3, but that thing is a bit loud for watching movies. As an aside, the PS3 streams Netflix way better than the Xbox 360 or Wii.

Bluray will be dead within 3 years. Streaming will be the future.

ehhhhh I don't shop somewhere because they treat their employees good. That's just a bonus. I go because I like the product or service. My company in Canada would basically pay the difference in between what the government provided for women on maternity leave and her full salary so women could effectively take a year off paid to raise their child, but that didn't make them any less of a money grubbing band of jackasses.

not really. You can on demand most of that shit NOW, or netflix stream it.

Yeah, but it's going to be a long time before anyone can reliably stream Blueray quality across the interweb to most HOMES.

^That. I wasn't going to go there, initially. lol. But thanks to some rude salesjerk and his even more-rude manager when I complained about the salesjerk, I don't shop at Sears, anymore... and haven't in over 10 years.

Odd. My Xbox360 streams Netflix 100 times better than the PS3. Oh yeah. Probably because I have an 802.11n adapter on my 360 and the PS3 is only G.

I thought I had heard that they no longer offered a lifetime warranty.

But I looked it up, and they still offer a lifetime warranty on all hand tools except torque wrenches (non-beam type).

Cool! Currently my tools are a mishmash, I hadn't been buying Craftsman because I thought their warranty had been gutted. Guess I was wrong. Glad I at least looked it up before posting.

I just bought $100 worth of Craftsman tools this morning.

This thread just made me buy this for my truck. It will sit opposite to my 5g fuel can and the ramp. Anybody need some Moto AAA..? Just holler... :thumbup

I usually double check Sears' prices against the likes of Best Buy....Sometimes Sears has better deals on their electronics.
