I dig the hats but not the screen effects.

I miss the snow piled up on the BARF logo. It was lovely. And static.

I miss the old BARF logo period and yes the snow on it was awesome. Times change and the new look is not a fun as the old one for me :afm199

It was probably some 20 something software designer that thought of this stuff and said we will stick it to the old folks because young ones are not engaged in forums anymore :devil

We have discussed turning it off forum wide, but it is not hard for users to disable so for now we are not.

Bring back the old days, my Ti-Book had the most fun stuff in it.

I had a border string of colored lites, and a controlled blizzard, (size, speed, and amount), variable, augmenting my wallpaper. the snowy BARF a +
 
I did the throttle, boom boom, to get an extra dusting of snow released from the branches. Everything blanketed white and there was absolutely no noise except deep breathing and in my ear drums my heartbeat.

I had snow everywhere. Then I noticed there was no "New" in threads I have gone to? Looked and I was not signed in. Must have been 30 days since I had done the verification. Verified and now all is good, no snow,

Interesting observation- I have hardcore dyslexia. The only thing I've ever been able to read proficiently are service manuals, schematics, etc. Even a long post on barf I may have to read 2 or 3 times... that's just the way it is.
But I just realized that this snow falling down thru the text really helps me to stay on track.
BARF may have just unknowingly cured dyslexia! :applause
 
Had to turn back on the XenGraphics to peek at New Years.

I think I can take 10 minutes or so. :laughing
 
I love the fireworks... but they DO NOT help with dyslexia. :laughing
 
I’m just happy that it stopped snowing.
