post a *PIC* of your latest purchase (can be anything as long as you purchased it)

It has a funny side too...tells jokes, but more like TARS in Interstellar.

Covid forced the home gym option...

That will be a fun, lightweight lens. (y) What camera body are you using?
If you're not familiar with Ken Rockwell here's his review: Nikkor Lens

It’s for a Z50 and since it’s effectively 42mm on the long end I can pretty much leave it on there and it will cover just about anything. It’s light compact and cheap so great for carrying on the moto.

I also have a Z6iii but won’t likely be trying this lens on that since I already have the 14-30 f4 and 20 f1.8 for full frame stuff.
I’ve compared the 12-28 to these lenses outside in bright sunlight and was impressed with results. It falls short of the 20mm though as you’d expect.

I am familiar with Ken Rockwell and check out his site every now and again. He’s got some great shots on there but when reviewing gear it’s the same old gear complaints over and over, plastic mounts, offshore manufacturing, and shooting raw…

Current torture. You should watch it try to do the dishes. The thing can't move on a slippery floor...

That this is sweet Berto. Just used one (a bit older) today. Versatile rig.

Then I went on a shopping spree.

So you just bought a Lyriq? What do you think of it?
We traded the 2024 600 AWD on the left, for the 2026 V on the right.

We put almost 20k miles on the ‘23 over two years. It is a great car, and definitely a Cadillac. What I mean is that it has softer seats, less damping, and more body roll than all of our current and previous cars, and we disliked that.

I discovered that the V swaybars bolt on the base models, so I ordered a rear bar (500% stiffer) to begin to address the body roll. The wife said we should go test drive a V so we have a recent comparison before I install the rear bar.

She set up a test drive and off we went. After the test drive I stood outside looking at the differences between the two while she went inside to use the restroom.

She came out and said “I went ahead and bought the swaybars.” I reminded her that I already did, and she shot back with “but mine are already attached to the car.”

The two cars are vastly different than I thought they would be. If the V suspension was an option on the base models, we’d have been happy with that. The extra power is just a bonus. A huge happy, awesome, screaming, fun bonus.

I purchased it 2 months ago, but was finally able to make the 3.5 hour (each way) trek to Happy Camp to load it up today.
1968 Mercury Colony Park 10 passenger station wagon.
428-4 barrel with a heavy duty (XPL) C4 transmission. Power door locks, power windows, power front bench seat, power front disc brakes, Air Conditioning, dual opposed rear jump seats for 4 passengers in the back. The interior is amazing for a car that has been sitting in the dirt for 35 years. Very straight and almost no rust anywhere. Just some surface rust.

I call shotgun.

I'll ride in the back and take potshots at other cars with my slingshot

Well if that ain’t the slickest move ever with a killer line I don’t know what is.

It's here! It's here, finally after 9 longs weeks.
My Baby just got off the truck this afternoon. Still has to be prepped. I’ll pick it up Tuesday afternoon. :teeth
And it's got a "Chain", haven't had one of those since 1980!
Hard bags are still in transit, they're shipped separately.
