daddy issues are pretty common in our generation: my real dad checked out when I was 3 and my step dad was verbally abusive all the time. The first time I heard "good job Tux" was in boot camp from a drill sergeant.

It's easy to get depressed this time of year especially.

I feel like as far as having dad issues goes, I got really lucky, all things considered. Mine also checked out early, but then my gramps stepped up as a role model and did all that typical dad sports stuff with me. He was a great guy from the depression era with classic values and a kind heart. I tried to contact my dad when I was 30 as a matter of clearing up any future regret and got a hold of my uncle, who was courteous enough to lay it all out there, that he wasn't really a good guy and I wasn't missing anything. I hung up, cried, and have felt satisfied with that closure since then.

Small victories, the KTM is no longer leaking gas out of the airbox, I think I made the mistake of running if after closing the petcocks to reduce fuel Preston the float needle, but I suspect some orings would prefer gas to stay swollen, so I'll stop doing that

EVEN MANAGED to help a fellow "biker" who was standing in fr of a bicycle shop in Sebasto .. that was closed. And had low air on the rear tire. I was the only one with a portable pump :facepalm
