More fun things this morning, besides the coyote

the earth has been having tantrums the last few days. I have to drive over the RSR bridge tomorrow, something that always makes me uncomfortable.

We're prepping for flooding the next few days as the PNW does what it does. The rain doesn't bother me but hate it when the wind tag-teams. So many trees don't have root systems to deal with water and wind. Also, had enough wind growing up in North Dakota.

A little before noon driving back to my house; passed the high school I can see the track with students, the dozen that I see are slow walking the trackand looking down at what appears to be their cell phones. That’s so weird.

My playlist people this morning has been all Lady Gaga. I would say she's a guilty pleasure but I don't feel guilty at all. Even as a pop artist, she is a classically trained musician and I like that.

I might play some Lady Gaga songs on Beat Saber on my Playstation VR after I get done doing job searching/applying.

I will say, sitting in a Zoox for 8 hours a day it's pretty impressive how many people have enough faith in their fellow humans to just wander across an intersection looking at their phone listening to their noise canceling headphones. I can safely say that the number of SF drivers that stop at stop signs is significantly lower than those that don't bother.

Nope, and we don't get to do anything in those electric ones. We drive modified Highlanders for data collection and training the robotics software. It's interesting enough and good interim gig until I can find something that pays better
