I'm supposed top go mtn bike riding with a couple of dudes at work. Not entirely sure if I am going to go. My leg has been bugging me and they are going to ride some really sketchy shit, which I love. But they also ride a lot harder than me and it's all rocky shit and they have more DH oriented bikes, so I am a little nervous about getting hurt and keeping up. I might go ride my usual instead.

Also, I am lazy and it's a drive.

audiobook of Helter Skelter and some coffee. hair appt later to do something a little metal

Good Morning!

It was a rally good ride. Lazying at the moment.
Sort of a pain being cripply when it comes to food and such. Walking to dinner was a no go. :(

Glad to hear you had a good ride! Booo to the cripply walk.

I went to bed so early last night my watch thought I took a late evening nap. Still getting some hand numbness when I sleep with bent elbows which is how I sleep all the damn time. Probably going from 0 - 5 days a week commuting on a bicycle has something to do with that. Gonna think about riding positions and what not. Might have to give up the single speed life and put together a properly comfy old guy commuter bike.

Consider a klunker like this.
You can ride with no hands most of the time….

.o.o.o.

But the single speed wouldn’t have to do with elbows. This is probably due to the distance between seat to bars (may be too long) and how you’re putting your weight on arms/elbows. I’m sure you are tensing up uuppper body and core, but in case you aren’t, … yeh , tensing up the upper body and stomach should help with strain on the arms

I guess I have to go read the Speed limits thread. But dumbass unnatural low limits at wide open roads are dumbass. Better put railings and restrict crossings instead..

I think what is really happening is that my body is telling me to quite working and just ride motorcycles, does that count as a disability I could get funded for? :laughing
