when i was a kid in northern minnesota, we always had deer hanging in the garage in the winter. these days it’s about as appealing to me as roadkill. speaking of which, saw 2 dead ones on the main county road on my way into town this morning. the buzzards and crows were feasting. after dark, the bears will get what’s left. day 1: bloating carcass. day 2: nothing left but a patch of hide that looks like a rug. even the bones get carried off.

I hated those. I felt very unsteady on them. I opted for crutches. My arms got buff. 🤣

I really don’t love deer. I drove my ex from his place to the airport and then back to my house at 2:30 am this morning. At least 60 miles of that is on forested/rural highways. It’s critter central right now. Just on this drive I had a rat or mole, a fox, and a raccoon dart in front of my car.

I was taking my ex hubby to the airport. He’s going back to Türkiye with a stop in Sweden to see his bros. He had a 5:00 flight and it’s a 90 minute drive to the airport.

He’s the father of my child. I’ll always love him. I just don’t want to live with him or have a romantic relationship with him. I have kept his last name and had it longer than my maiden name.

I’m not speaking to my last ex, who I found out @AbsolutEnduser knows, but wish him no ill will. He was just a shitty partner.

Glad not to be sore for the walk to the Little League game yesterday. It was in San Carlos hills and it was one steep walk to get to the field. I was thinking "What about us handicapped people!"

I was surprised actually. An 85yo... or a dude with a recently broken leg sure needed to be careful. It was way steep compared to a code compliant HC ramp.

Looking forward to the gym.

Woke up at 6:30 this morning, no alarm. Guess that means I am rested? Fought it for a bit and finally hauled myself outta bed around 7:30. Now I'm just lounging around with coffee until it's time to head to work.
 
I'm thinking Costco soon.

No gym.

Hopefully someone helps carrying the laundry hamper. Doesn't feel right I have to walk stairs with it.

Last not was ugly. They showed Space Balls on the telly, but at some point I said it's time for someone to go to bed. Look! We literally have it on Blu DVD!! 📀 (So, we can watch it today again. ) but ugliness ensued.
 
I'll go to the gym just as soon as my lazy wrists and elbows stop being sore and whatnot from overuse. So also probably never :laughing
