read a random online article today. rarely do - but got interested in an sfgate article about the new status symbol in ca realestate (fire protection features, e.g. home hardening and defensible space management - apparently a smart investment if you're selling and looking for roi). anyway - wandered over to another headline - recommendations from interior designers (weird tangent, i know, but curiosity got the best of me). it was boring and predictable, but then (curiosity again) i clicked on the comments. holy shit, there’s a lot of angry, hostile assholes with way too much time on their hands who apparently take even the most mundane subjects and turn them into a kill or be killed death match. who knew the subject of sofas was so fucking triggering. jesus. fucking. christ.
 
I have to imagine that comments sections are just all AI bots designed to argue about whatever the article was about, and stir outrage and disagree and name call and just be repugnant trolls.
for my own sanity and to maintain a shred of hope for humanity, I have to believe it's all Botts

Reunion was fun. A few dreams had sleeping about old times.

Two dudes did not age. Amazing.

My buddy Julio (DedRinger bass player) did a 30’minute Ai walk thru of our year book. It was excellent.

And yes he had the Budman on a Ducati 998.
Our class is super active with a small reunion every year since ‘03 and a bigger formal every 5.

I think we are pretty unique.

Think I will hit the gym and then pop by the class picnic.
 
Sounds like a great time was had Bud. I am up and off for a mtn bike ride before it gets hot and miserable. Going to have lunch at a local winery later, then catch up on laundry and stuff this afternoon before my week from hell starts tomorrow.
