So my (family) “car” is driveable , but the front right is pretty fffd. ‘Broken “glass” of the headlight too

What’s worse is I’m getting a croak in the drivers door (left) which wasn’t there before!

… and I noticed what seems like a misaligned hood, to me :(

I think I should start “calling” the insurance

What she said.. Sorry man.

Doc said total knee replacement is in my near future. Not looking forward to it. My wife says it's a good pain. She's had two knees and a hip replaced. The things you discover when you resurrect your FJR after a two year nap.
Sucks... but in the end you should be better. I found the range of motion for the kit restrictive. No more sports bikes. Need a tall seat. Not sure how tall you are but at 6'+ a smidge that was the deal for me.

More bullshit on another project today. I follow instructions on a portal.. City comes backs and says it is not right.. do it this way. Did it this persons way and got stuck again. Reach back out and I get an OOO. :rant

Hit the general email address.. I will be lucky to get a note back in 48 hours!! SO MUCH BULLSHIT!!!!!!! :mad

Knees still seem to be hit and miss. I know lots of folks who have had good results and others where the “knee hurts everywhere except where it used to.” A lot of variables, it seems, including what activities one wants to be able to do. Finding surgeons who have done these procedures on other people who do what you want to be able to do, tips the odds in your favor.

My knee surgery yesterday was a repair of a hypermobile meniscus. This is a condition where the fascicles that anchor the meniscus to the tibial plateau tear and allow the meniscus to slide around and get stuck in the joint. This subsequently leads to meniscus tears.

When most surgeons hear “knee locking,” they assume meniscus tears are the cause. In my case, it was a symptom, but certainly associated with the locking. A knee replacement would have resolved it, but the knee was otherwise healthy and I wanted to avoid losing range of motion and proprioception, as can be the case with a replacement.

That said, my deal was a corner case and joint preservation was an option. If you’re bone on bone, TKR may be the way to go.

Kid storytime.

My kid was having some bad attitude. Normal kid stuff, giving me and mama the guff. Anyways... I'm sick of her attitude so I tell her to cut it out.

She looks at me dead in the eye and says "I can't cut it out I don't have scissors"

Mom.and I had to leave the room laughing

Serfas makes really comfortable seats. Yes, they are larger than the average seat but they are super comfortable. I have them on both of my bicycles.

I appreciate the suggestion but I actually need a very, very narrow saddle. I recently was fitted and am told a 130mm wide saddle is my size. I am on the left side of the bell curve with respect to the distance between my sitbones.

What the seat doesn’t make obvious is that the two halves move independently besides using gel. A narrow seat concentrates pressure in a smaller area and therefore is less comfortable. I suggest you go to a bike shop and check them out. Twist the two sides. Feel the seat and see how it moves. And if you can find a shop that will let you take one for a test ride, do that too.

FYI, I’ve been an avid bicyclist all my life and this is the most comfortable seat by far.
