I guess gear can only protect you that much... I wouldn't be as sane as you if I was stuck with that bull-isht for that long. Could you feel your leg after that?

I could feel it alright, Most of the time I was loaded down with morphine, Then I had to come off the Morphine, Now that was a bastad...
Moved on to Vicodin, Not as bad.

I have most feelings in there now, Numb spots, Mostly between my ears..:teeth
Very bad ankle movement, Its a bitch to shift gears,
Besides that it's all rosy..;)
 
Tacky1 ~ check this out, the Royce Exoform Speed Brace. I've used these for a few years now, great design, good balance between support and freedom of movement. best one on the market bar none and on sale too. two types with cross straps or w/o, big with the ice skating people and you know they know about ankle support issues.

there are more hardcore braces (and unfortunately I have to use them too) but you need to get fitted proper for those. am sure you know about this already anyways.
