Plus I bought her a couple of money plants that are 5’ tall so she has to jump onto the kitchen counter to access and smell the leaves so kinda my fault.

I used to have a cat that loved pushing stuff onto the floor. When she wanted to wake me up she’d sit on my dresser and start pushing coins off one by one. She’d push one off, then look at me, then push another one, then she’d push off 2 coins at a time, til there were no coins left, then she’d start pushing my rings off, or whatever was available. Annoying little habit! Apollo gets on the counter and tries to open the cabinet where the treats are kept. I’m certain he will figure it out someday…

The first weekend we had the cat we went out for food for a couple of hours and left her alone. When we got back she was shredding a roll of paper towels.
I was a concerned that this might be her normal behaviour anytime she’s left alone and that we’d have to put everything away that we’d didn’t want destroyed.

But that was just a one off, her first weekend, she probably thought she had been abandoned. Now when we go out we leave the tv on playing some 8 hr YouTube cat tv squirrel video. She’ll watch squirrels calmly but if it’s a mouse video she’ll jump at the tv so can’t leave her alone with those playing.
She’ll often be sitting in a table chair watching tv when we get back home.
 
2 year Kato shreds the TP whether placed correctly or upside down.

No rhyme or reason but he's a nut that way.

A cute nut though, which is why he gets away with no punishment but, of course, punishing a cat is useless and cruel.
 
This was Athena, my little coin-pusher. She loved nothing more than a fresh roll of paper towels and a box. It was her favorite thing to play with, and we made sure she
always had one available at all times during her 13 years with us...

We have a cat that likes nothing better than to go after the toilet paper roll
The problem is that she also will eat it
Now we have to keep the bathroom doors closed & we had to get pet insurance
 
She threw up on the floor yesterday so had to buy a mini steam cleaner to clean up and be ready for next time.
Not sure she apricated the cleaner but she sure liked the box.

If one of my cats decides to puke on the vinyl or tile floor, then no problem but on the carpet then yuck - fookers.

I still would never give any of them up
