Anyone want a new kitten? We found this little thing (pretty sure it's a female) but we can't keep her since we already have 2 cats and 2 dogs. She's very sweet and playful, is probably 2-3 months old, and weighs almost 3 pounds. It's eating dry food and uses a litter box. If you're interested, I live in Salinas and you can either come here, or I can meet you half way.

Four cats is a wonderful thing. When they eat, you hear nom nom sounds in quadrophonic!

I'd consider this little girl, but we have three black cats already, and if we get a fourth, I might as well just rename them all Agent Smith. The neighbors already think we have just one black cat.

But really, the reason is that we just lost our Smudge, and we're too raw from his passing to bring a new cat in.

And in case you're wondering, she's making "biscuits" in the air in the first pic.

We can only keep her another couple days, so if you're interested let me know soon. Monday or Tuesday she will have to go either to the city shelter or a rescue group. Might try a Craigslist ad ("free to a good home") but not sure I want to go that route.

Oh, I don't know about that. My boys are bad-asses (particularly Harold who is afraid of nothing), and drive off the neighborhood cats, and they both LOOOVE the girl kitteh. She can whap them on the head repeatedly and they never lift a paw against her.

Uh-oh, don't get his hopes up! I started a new thread here and it looks like I have a taker. The plan is to meet Wednesday to give her away! Thanks for asking around though. Hope the son isn't too upset.

Trying to get Jasper conditioned for road trips. So we have been taking him out for spins around the neighborhood. I think hes starting to enjoy it as he insists on helping with the driving already.
