I will keep my ears open. My coworker desperately wants a kitty but he would need to stay indoors. (all cats are forever, eternally, kitties)

Today we said “so long” to Ted. Ted came to us through Wendy, F4iChic about 12 years ago. He was ferocious leaving me wondering who will keep the puppies in line.

you’re an amazing mom, gwynne. animals have an almost otherworldly ability to hide their pain. they do it at times of injury and illness throughout their life. at the end, when they’re failing, you can see it in their eyes. ‘let me go’. being there for them at that time, and providing the ultimate release is heartbreaking, but it’s also pure love. ted was one lucky kitty. am sure it was mutual.
